Hi all,
the following is a copy of the message I sent to RMS.

Best regards,
 Quique

I've been taking a look at this, and I could not find a single reference
about this conference, other than this announcement. It seems is not
backed by Macromedia in any way (and, in fact, by nobody else so far).

If this was the important event they claim, they would not need to spam
around. I really believe it doesn't deserve our efforts.

If we wanted to protest about Flash, we should do it at the `canonical'
event in Spain: the Online Flash Film Festival (Offf). This year was
held
on July 1-2-3 in Valencia.

When I try to visit a site and I find it requires Flash, I send them a
msg, explaining them that they are losing customers, and that Flash it
is
a lame technology: I show them that the real big sites (the Whitehouse,
Amazon.com, IBM, whatever), which could afford using any technology they
please, do not use Flash.
