El nuevo modconf para _sid_ y _sarge_ al menos ya soporta la nueva extension .ko para el kernel 2.6.x (supongo que tb para _woody_).

Así que ya no necesitas utilizar el script de txipi. Deberia de funcionarte bien.

Prueba a hacer sino (igual necesitas actualizar):

# apt-get update && apt-get install modconf
