Nada. He probado a reiniciar las X con la siguiente configuración en el
xorg.conf:
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Device "Tarjeta de vídeo genérica"
Monitor "Monitor genérico"
DefaultDepth 24
SubSection "Display"
Depth 1
Modes "1280x1024" "1280x800" "1200x800" "1024x768"
"800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
SubSection "Display"
Depth 4
Modes "1280x1024" "1280x800" "1200x800" "1024x768"
"800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
SubSection "Display"
Depth 8
Modes "1280x1024" "1280x800" "1200x800" "1024x768"
"800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
SubSection "Display"
Depth 15
Modes "1280x1024" "1280x800" "1200x800" "1024x768"
"800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
SubSection "Display"
Depth 16
Modes "1280x1024" "1280x800" "1200x800" "1024x768"
"800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
SubSection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "1440x900" "1440x900" "1440x900" "1440x900"
"1440x900" "1440x900"
EndSubSection
De todas maneras, ahora, después de cambiar la resolución, me ha aparecido
este mensaje al intentar abrir con el vim el xorg.conf (pero al final, al
teclear enter, me deja):
E325: ATTENTION

NEWER than swap file!
(1) Another program may be editing the same file.
If this is the case, be careful not to end up with two
different instances of the same file when making changes.
Quit, or continue with caution.
(2) An edit session for this file crashed.
If this is the case, use ":recover" or "vim -r /etc/X11/xorg.conf"
to recover the changes (see ":help recovery").
If you did this already, delete the swap file "/etc/X11/.xorg.conf.swp"
to avoid this message.
"/etc/X11/xorg.conf" 119L, 3210C
Press ENTER or type command to continue
No sé, ya sieno estar volviendote loco....estoy googleando como loco y no
encuentro ninguna solución para esto!!!!
Un saludo,
Geru.
